Academic Tutoring
The Academic Support Center recommends that students Come Prepared.
The Academic Support Center offers free tutoring to students enrolled at MCC. Tutors are generally available in the following areas:
- Accounting
- Astronomy
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Computers
- Earth Science
- English/ESL
- Law
- Mathematics (all areas)
- Physics
- Social Science (ANT, HIS, POL, PSY, SOC)
Tutoring in other subjects is also available if tutors are available. Students are permitted two half-hour tutoring sessions per subject per week. The tutor schedule offers a variety of hours for which students may make appointments. <

You must be a Manchester Community College student presently registered for the course in which you wish to receive tutoring. You will need your Banner identification number to schedule a tutoring appointment. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. More than two "no-shows" may jeopardize your tutoring privileges. Weekly study groups of two or more students are welcome and will be facilitated upon request.
