Business, Engineering and Technology

About the Division

Welcome to the Business, Engineering and Technology (BET) Division! We offer our students a variety of academic options to meet their unique educational, career and life goals and to prepare them to succeed in today's technology-driven economy.

Whether you are looking for more immediate employment, an opportunity to acquire new skills or plan to transfer to a four-year institution, the BET Division offers a broad selection of degree and certificate programs in the following areas:

Getting Started in Business, Engineering and Technology

For students who are considering enrolling in a business, paralegal, engineering or technology program, or who simply want general information, the division offers a number of introductory courses that require very few or no prerequisites. Taking one of these courses is an easy way to "get started" on deciding if a career in business, engineering or technology is right for you.

With an increasing number of students looking to continue their studies and receive a bachelor's degree, many students will start their course work at MCC because of its high quality instruction and more affordable tuition and fees. MCC has developed excellent relationships with our neighboring college and university partners to ensure that our graduates are able to transfer the maximum number of credits. Students who are thinking of transferring are encouraged to meet with their academic advisors or department chairs to discuss how MCC courses transfer to other institutions. More information on the transfer options available at MCC can be found in the Transfer Services portion of the web site.

Whatever your plans, the entire MCC professional community — its faculty, staff and support areas — is committed to preparing our students to succeed in the classroom, in the workplace and in society.
