Program Design
Manchester Community College's new twenty-four credit Polysomnography certificate program has been designed to prepare students for a career as a polysomnographic technologist and to take the profession's credentialing examination.
The program has been structured for students who are able to attend school on a full-time basis and can be completed in two semesters.
Curriculum
At MCC, the Polysomnography program curriculum is a mix of science and hands-on/practical courses.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of all Polysomnography certificate program requirements, graduates will:
- Acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to obtain an entry level position as a polysomnographic technologist.
- Receive instruction on effective communication.
- Be eligible and prepared to take the examination offfered by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists.
- Be introduced to the employment opportunities available in the field of polysomnography.
