Theatre

Humanities courses are designed from an interdisciplinary perspective, allowing students to examine the interplay of the humanities and society from a multicultural point-of-view. Two courses: Introduction to Humanities and Harlem Renaissance emphasize the interaction of the arts, music, literature and visual representation. These courses often include field trips to museums, performing art functions and sites of creative interest.

Theatre currently offers courses in two levels of Acting, offering students basic skills in concentration and characterization skills, script analysis and interpretation, and emotional, expressive and technical experiences. Capstone experiences include staged productions usually at the end of a semester.
