Manchester Community College, founded in 1963, is an open admission college, offering over 75 associate in science and associate in art degrees, and certificates. Student annual enrollment is approximately 15,000 (full- and part-time, credit and credit-free).
The 160-acre, beautifully-wooded, state-of-the-art campus is easily accessible from I-291, I-84 and I-384 - just minutes from Hartford - with plenty of free parking.
Costs and Facts
Tuition is low (only $ 140.00 per credit hour + fees) and the class sizes are small. The climate is student-centered
and student life is very active.
MCC accepts applicants with proof of high school/GED or college completion, immunization and a $20 application fee.
Admissions Information Sessions:
Tuesday evenings at 5:30 - 6:30 pm.
Students interested in learning more about MCC are encouraged to attend an Admissions Information Session, which includes general information concerning admissions, programs and services, and a guided tour.
Admissions Information Sessions will be held on Tuesday evenings from 5:30 - 6:30 pm on the following dates:
- May 7 and 21
- June 4 and 18
Sessions begin promptly at 5:30 pm.
Directions to the college can be found at Directions and Maps. Park in EAST lot, adjacent to Great Path Academy (GPA) building. Go to the second floor to room GP203, the Community Commons room, which is at the end of the hallway. Pre-registration is recommended.
- Saturday Information Session: May 18 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Open campus tours are given on Thursday afternoons at 3:00 pm, are approximately one-hour long and leave promptly from the Admissions Office, Lowe L-156. Eli Arzola will be conducting these tours.
