Welcome

Manchester Community College, founded in 1963, is an open admission college, offering over 75 associate in science and associate in art degrees, and certificates. Student annual enrollment is approximately 15,000 (full- and part-time, credit and credit-free).

The 160-acre, beautifully-wooded, state-of-the-art campus is easily accessible from I-291, I-84 and I-384 - just minutes from Hartford - with plenty of free parking.

Costs and Facts

Tuition is low (only $126.00 per credit hour + fees, '10-'11) and the class sizes are small. The climate is student-centered and student life is very active.

MCC is a NJCAA Division III college, with intercollegiate athletics for men (baseball and soccer) and women (basketball and soccer). The College also sponsors 25+ student clubs and organizations.

MCC accepts applicants with proof of high school/GED or college completion, immunization and a $20 application fee.

Campus Tours

Campus tours will be given on Friday afternoons from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tours are approximately one-hour long and leave promptly from the Admissions Office, Lowe L-156. Eli Arzola will be conducting these tours.

2012 OPEN HOUSE

Thursday, April 19, 4-7 pm in the GPA gymnasium. Learn about MCC programs and services; attend Admissions, Financial Aid and/or Adult Learners workshops; meet with faculty and staff; take a campus tour.

2012 Information Sessions

Students interested in learning more about MCC are encouraged to attend an Admissions Information Session, which inlcudes general information concerning admissions, programs and services, and a guided tour. Admissions Information sessions will be held on Wednesday evenings, from 5:30 p,m, to 6:30 p.m. beginning February 1, in the Arts, Sciences and Technology bulding (AST) C 211. You may park in lot C, which is adjacent to the Arts, Sciences and Technology (AST) building, go to the second floor, C-wing. Registration is not required.

There are no Information sessions in April. All students are encouraged to attend the MCC Spring Open House on Thursday, April 19, 4-7 pm in the Great Path Academy gymnasium.

Directions to the college can be found at Directions and Maps. Park in lot B, adjacent to the Great Path Academy (GPA) building, go to the second floor to the Community Commons room at the end of the hallway. Sessions begin promptly at 5:30 pm.
