Mission Statement

At the Fitness Center, we know that maintaining a healthy body, developing self awareness and creating new friendships are equally important as succeeding in your studies. The Fitness Center provides not only a place to work out, but also a place to socialize and bring our campus together as a community.

Core Values

The following core values reflect what is important to us as a department in the Division of Student Affairs. These are not values that change from time to time, situation to situation, or person to person, but rather they are the underpinning of what we believe is the culture of our college. By maintaining these core values, regardless of how large we become, we preserve what has always been special about our department - the fact that each person that comes here is an individual.

Passion for Health
We embrace and celebrate the difference that being healthy, fit and active makes in the quality of one's life.

Member Services
We want to exceed your expectations with each workout and group fitness class you take. We know that by doing so, we turn you into a working and walking advocate of living a healthy life.

Quality Standards
We have high standards and our goal is to offer the best programs and services possible. We define quality by evaluating cleanliness, safety, service, delivery and ease of use for each member.

Education Enhancement
We believe we generate greater appreciation and loyalty from our members by educating them about fitness and physical activity, nutrition, safety and health.

Inviting Environment
We strive to create an environment that is exciting and fun and one that reflects the interests of the people we serve. We want our facility to serve as an area that enhances the college experience by assisting students to achieve their academic goals and one that brings students, staff and faculty together.

Meaningful Value
We offer value to members by providing them with competitive membership fees, quality equipment and extraordinary service.

Program Innovation
We value change and creative programming. We strive to insure that our class offerings never become stale or mundane. We are not afraid of innovation or high standards; nor are we reluctant to try new ideas and concepts.
