MCC Foundation

Welcome

Welcome & thank you for viewing the MCC Foundation Inc. portion of our college's website.

We, as board members of the Foundation, strive to build understanding, relationships and scholarship funding. We are community and business people, like you, who have fun supporting the efforts of MCC's students, faculty members and administrative personnel.

Read on to see if our mission and goals meet your personal and business needs. If you think they do, I invite you to call anyone of our board members to learn more about the college and how you can participate in, and become committed to, the growth of MCC and its student population.

Sincerely,
Gene S. Mazur
MCC Foundation President

Mission Statement

The Manchester Community College Foundation helps the institution fulfill its mission by funding scholarships to provide access to college programs, supporting strategic initiatives that ensure quality services, funding the purchase of equipment that enables programs to expand beyond a core level of operations, and building a network of community support in the region served by MCC. The Manchester Community College Foundation is a tax-exempt entity granted public non-profit status under the 1954 Code section 501© (3) in 1968.

MCC Foundation support assists with student scholarships, College programs, and strategic initiatives that will keep MCC current in areas of professional development, technology and skills training. Financial needs cannot be met by state budget dollars alone; MCC needs private partners to assist with the challenge to remain true to our mission of delivering educational services that ensure access, excellence and relevance to our community.

What We Do

The MCC Foundation helps Manchester Community College enhance the quality of existing programs and fund the development of new programs, raise funds from private sources to support scholarships and College programs, fund the acquisition of equipment that enhances College programs, build a network of community support in the region served by MCC and promote better public understanding of the College and encourage increased public involvement in its educational, cultural, and community activities.
