NOVEMBER/ DECEMBER 2014

Months of November and December- GPA’s School Nurse, Ms. Vousden, will be screening all 9th graders for scoliosis and vision.

November 15th- Magnet School Lottery applications open.  (Families interested in siblings attending GPA must list GPA as a first choice, submit an application with sibling preference online  and notify the theme coach, at difea001@Hartfordschools.org, of the sibling preference.)

December 16th- Student Shadow Half-day. Our student shadow day is full for this date.  If interested, please call (860) 512-3756 to schedule for the upcoming dates in January and February.

December 16th- Senior Night, information on financial aid and college applications, 5-6:30 pm.

December 16th-23rd- GPA Can Drive Competition.  Which grade can collect the most food to donate?  Organized by the GPA Student Council.  Collection bins are located in the front office.

December 17th- 9:30- 11 am, UHart College Visit.

December 17th- “Great Path of America Bank” in Small Business Finance will be accepting “applications” for “loans”, interviews taking place in class.

December 17th- 9th and 10th grade assemblies regarding NWEA and CAPT Science testing.
