New Student Orientation
Orientation sessions are scheduled via online registration only.
See the New Student Orientation wiki for more information.
The first step to a successful college career is attendance and active participation at New Student Orientation (NSO). Manchester Community College's (MCC) comprehensive program will provide you with the necessary information needed to have a smooth and successful transition to college life. The primary goal for the NSO program is to provide various opportunities for new students to learn methods for academic and social success at MCC.
NSO is designed to support incoming students with:
- Meeting other new students and current student leaders
- Becoming familiar with the student affairs staff, along with the services available on campus
- Learning the importance of displaying civility, respecting diversity and minimizing risky behaviors
All new and transfer students (full-time and part-time, and international students) are expected to attend one of the NSO sessions available on the registration page linked above. Please make sure your attendance has been confirmed by the Office of Student Activities . In addition, during your time at Manchester Community College, you are expected to participate in at least one student club and/or college governance committee. You can see an up-to-date listing of clubs and committees in the Student Club Interest Form or via the sidebar.
